The file called U.S. Revolutionary War Pensioners also includes regular army pensions and invalid pensions issued shortly after the War of 1812. Hence Abner occurs on this list. Here, he is shown being paid his pension of $8 / month starting in May 1815. In March 1827, his account was transferred from the West Tennessee Pension Office to the Alabama office.
