    Eula L. Newell, 90, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, September 8, 1999 in a local nursing home. She was a member of New Bethel Assembly of God Church.

    Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday in Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at the National Cemetery in Fort Smith.

    She is survivied by three sons: Walter of Roland, Oklahoma; and Wayne and James both of Fort Smith; one sister, Helen Kalinsky of Gregory, Michigan; and 11 grandchildren, Walter D. Newell II, Granada Banta, Allan Newell, Lynde Newell, Bryan Newell, Beth Wilson, Deanna Newell, Scott Newell, Aaron Newell, Robert Newell and Daniel Newell.

    Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

    The family will visit with friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
