According to History of Texas, Tarrant, Parker, Dick lived in Galveston and died in 1850 at the time of the epidemic there. However, since he was living in 1852 in Navarro county, this is unlikely to be completely accurate.
There was a yellow fever outbreak in Galveston in 1853 that killed 523 people.
