    Notes:

There is a death record in 1845 for a Benjamin Peterson, age 8, listed as son of Franklin. Another record says he could be the son of Washington. But, since this Benjamin appears in the same family as Franklin and the rest of the family in 1855, I really do not believe the 1845 Benjamin is this one.

    Military:
On 24 Feb 1900, he applied for an invalid pension from the Civil War.
Application Number 1244813, Certificate Number 1002830.

On 8 Jan 1915, his widow applied for a Widow's pension as well.
Application No. 1039558, Certificate No. 792981

    Census:
They are next door to Benjamin's father in 1900. Benjamin's birth date is recorded as Oct 1836, but Maria's is Oct 1843. I believe hers, but all other records point to his in June.

Benjamin married Maria Beers on 1 May 1867 in Easton, Northampton, Pennsylvania, United States. Maria (daughter of William Beers and Rebecca B.) was born in 1844 in Phillipsburg, Warren, New Jersey, United States; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
