To all whom this obligation may concern: This is to certify that I David B. Almand have given P.B. Almand full control of my cotton crop that I shall make or raise the present year and bind myself to plant nine acres of the same and cultivate well and gather by the twenty fifth day of December next and have it ready for market, also one black and white cow and marked crop off the right ear. also one calf beloging to said cow for the payment of a certain note given to the said P.B. Almand or heirs for seventy five dollars. signed by D.B. Almand Jr and D.B. Almand Sr dated Nov 12th 1872 and due Dec 25 1873. And I D.B. Almand Jr being the only debtor left alive to said note bind myself heirs and assignees for the same unto the said P.B. Almand his heirs and assigns until said note with ten per cent interest on it is paid from the time it was due then after that the balance is the said D.B. Almands own. The said P.B. Almand concents.
