  The marriage certificate says Carl T. Byrd, but I can believe that it was really Carl J. Byrd. It also says he was born 10 Feb 1929 which conveniently makes him 21 instead of actually 18. Likewise, Evelyn's says she was born in 1931 instead of 1932.
