  	The international marriage index lists this as 1798. Clearly, it has to be by 3 Mar 1798 when the oldest child is born. But since there are 2 women listed in the 1790 census, I feel like this is mostly likely just before that census. Probably around 1788. Notes for Alletha Dossey (Dorsey) (Betty Wren) !MARR: Circuit Court Halifax Co.Va Bk.19 p12 While we have proof of the marriage, we do not have a record to prove when and where it happened. The deed records show that Alletha is the daughter of Caleb Dossey and Nancy Beech. But we do not have anything to link that further back.
