  	U.S. marriage records says that this occurred in Georgia. In 1796, Alabama was a part of Georgia, I think. This hardly seems the likely place for this marriage. Talladega was frontier country. The Jimersons and the Wares were well established on the eastern side of Georgia and did not seem to be heading out to the west to get married.
