Notes - We need to prove that in fact Henry Vincent, son of Alexander Vincent, was the Henry who married Rachel Caits and fathered Adolphus. Based on the dates, it is possible that Henry, son of Henry, was the husband of Rachel Caits.
Henry Vinson witnessed the inventory for Joshua Cates, dec'd on 22 Dec 1838 in Rutherford Co., Tenn. Among the articles included in the inventory were 4 negroes and one note for $81.50 on Henry Vinson due 25 Dec 1838. Total for the inventory was $28676.25. The inventory was signed by John Cates and Henry Vinson.
