  I am unable to locate Alexander A. Vincent in the Tennessee 1850 Census. Originally, I had recorded Alex' uncle Alex A. Vincent as the guardian of Adolphus and Peyton. But he died before the guardianship ended and there was no mention of a change in guardian. It makes more sense to have the older brother be the guardian in any case. Many researchers have confused the Alex A born in 1792 with this Alex A, born around 1813. This A.A. Vincent married Rhoda A. E. Lynch. The 1792 A.A. married
