  Mary is listed in the 1860 census as Mary F.E. Deshazo. In Crawford County, in December 1890, a divorce between Mary Deshazier and John W Deshazier is listed. This needs to be sorted out. I have heard that there is a second J.W. Deshazo in the area, but I have not seen evidence of him. By 1890, John Walker Deshazo and Mary Phelps had been in Arkansas for 10 years. -- MERGED NOTE ------------ This may actually be Mary F.E. Phelps
