    • In settling her father's estate, Jane is listed as Jane Matthis rather than Matthews. Likewise, while all of the other sons-in-law are listed as receiving their wife's share, Jane is listed on her own.

      After Zebulon's death and her father's death, did Jane remarry? Based on census records, she could have had small children, but they were not listed in the 1810 census.
