  Notes for Mathew Kimbrell (Betty Wren) !MARR: Court of Equity, 1830-69, Lancaster Co, SC. !DEED:1813, Lancaster Co SC, DB-H-59, Clem Hancock to Mathew Kimbrel land next to George & Theodoric Wren. Wit: Lucas Tomlinson, George Wren, Theodoric Wren. NOTE: This deed seems to muddle things abit. Theodoric Wren, brother of George Wren, according to all accounts died during the Revolutionary War, c. 1781. Theodore Wren, son of George Wren, according to his tombstone was born 1798. This would make him only 15 at most on 17 Apr 1813 when this deed was written and witnessed. It doesn't seem likely Theodore, son of George, could have been witnessing this deed and also be land owner living next to grantor at such an early age. Was his birth date wrong?
