  Notes from Ellie Friesen: Hazel & Harry were married by a Justice of the Peace. On 30 June 1938 Hazel was admitted to Central State Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, OK. She was only 23 years of age. She was there until 20 Dec 1956. Was delivered by a Dr. Mc Brayer. Said she was 16 months old when her mother died. She lived with her grandmother until age 8. Went to a Baptist church in Haworth with aunt and uncle. Said her grandparents, the Pettigrews, would go by on their way to church and take her along. Her father didn't let her have anything to do with them. She was discharged from Central State Hospital in 1956. Lived in a nursing home the rest of her life. In 1973-74 she lived in the Woodside Nursing Home owned by Gussy Hawley (Marvin Reynold's sister). Gussy had known Hazel some years earlier.
