  DEATH: Newton1 reports death as 14 Aug 1838.MARRIAGE: Newton1 reports marriage as 20 Jan 1820. BIRTH: Some sources report birth in Petersburg, VA CALLED: Robert Hale does not include the initial B. Other researchers record him as John B. Almand. There is a lot of discussion about who was a Butler and who as not in this family. Ruth Bell noted many of these children named as Butler,and then concluded that Nancy David must have been a Butler as well. Until this is resolved, I will avoid the Butler names.
