    • Catherine McNeill was born in Wester Aberlednock, Monzievaird and Strowan Parish, Perthshire, Scotland (very near the village of Comrie, Perthshire where she later lived after marriage). The date of birth given is actually the Christening date. She was married to Duncan McCallum (1784-1865) on 11 July 1806 in Comrie, Perthshire, Scotland. They had fifteen children as documented in their Family Bible, the first eight of which were born in Scotland. They immigrated to the United States in 1818, where the remainder of their 15 children were born.
