  Mary is a bit of a mystery. She does not appear with George in the census in 1850, 1860, or 1870. FindaGrave says she died in 1880, not 1864. But, in 1860 and 1870, George is alone in the family of Mary's siblings. Did she die very early, earlier than believed? Did she run off? Was she in the mental hospital? Or what? But in the 1840 census, there are young children and a woman aged 20-30 in the household. I suspect this is her.
