• Notes

  Though John's children point toward a move to Arkansas around 1842, there are no deeds available for the period from 1839-1849 Interestingly, in the deeds in Book C, there are three deeds where J.M & Lima Council sold land. But the deeds were recorded in Fannin County, Texas. FamilySearch records for Fannin County have to be viewed at an affiliate library.
