  Henry L. Cooper was born in Delaware, was a Maryland Revolutionary soldier, and moved to North Carolina where he married, 19 Jan 1794, Rebecca Hollis, daughter of John and Mary Hollis. They moved to Tennessee about 1814-15 to Rutherford County. He had three sons and two daughters. Some reports claim that the family lived in the Short Mountain area of Rutherford County. MARRIAGE: Cooper5 N4, H2 Somehow, Henry Cooper is connected to Robert S. Cooper. There are too many common names in the church cemetery to not be connected.
