	Family tradition says she was from Indian Territory, but her death certificate and various census records all call out Tennessee as her birthplace. Having not found her in IT, I would believe Tennessee is more likely. The Indian Territory story may be a confusion with a different Fannie Cole.

Notes

According to the 1910 & 1920 Census, Fannie Cole was born in Tennessee, as were her parents. Other sources claim her to be born inthe Indian Territories. I beleive the many censuses.

Additionally, the 1910 Census reports that she had 5 children, 4 of whom were living in 1910. The 5th child is not listed in this family.
