Craven is an extinct county and was eliminated when the seven original judicial districts were created.

Notes - Landed at Fredericksburg, VA before the Revolutionary War. Settled near there. Fought in the Revolution for the entire war. Had 4 sons and 5 daughters.
Figuring out where Thomas Cason and other Laurens Casons lived and who they were is important to move forward and backward. In 1800, there appear to be several Casons: Thomas, Giles, Elizabeth, John, and Benjamin.
There appears to be a William and a William Jr. William Jr is married to Mary. Thomas witnesses deed for William Jr. I suspect that they are brothers and that William Sr (not yet seen) is likely their father.
