• Notes

  Thomas Beech wrote a will on 20 Jul 1799, supposedly 8-10 days prior to his death, in which he gave his entire estate to the children of his two sisters, Nancy Dossey and Lyddia Brown. He also instructed that after bringing in the crop to pay his debts that his three slaves were to be free and allowed to live on his land.
