      Effie Chancellor, 82, of Cooper died Friday, May 8, at St.Joseph's Hospital. Services were held at 10AM Monday, May 11 at Delta Funeral Home with Rev. M.E. Green and burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. She was born in Arkansas, a daughter of Robert and Elizabeth (Hughes) Studebaker. She married William Melton Chancellor in 1925. He died March 6, 1969. Surviving are 2 sons, Robert Melton Chancellor of Dallas and Tony Chancellor of Commerce; 5 daughters, Gracie Price of Mesquite, Betty Watkins, Joyce Toles, Edna Reynolds and Alice Moore, all of Cooper; a brother, Lavern Studebaker of Arkansas; 28 grandchildren,; 46 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, William Bryant Chancellor.Gravesite Details
