Notes - Jane Huckaby St. John and Nancy Huckaby St. John are clearly not the same person. In the final settlement of William's estate, it calls out specifically that Nancy St. John is deceased and has unknown heirs in South Carolina and that Jane St. John is living, presumably in Noxubee County by that point. This would indicate that perhaps Nancy is the eldest (from the order in the estate documents, I would expect this), that she married, had at least one child in South Carolina, and then died very young, presumably by about 1825.
This family seems to have made its way from SC to AL by way of Georgia and has only recently arrived in AL in 1850.
Not found in 1840 AL or MS census. Could be in SC still.
