Notes Married:
- This is very strange. In October 1928, Brady & Evelyn get a license and get married in front of a JP in Muskogee. The marriage is recorded.
Then, in July 1929, they go to Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma and get a new license and are married by a Methodist minister.
There is sufficient gap between even the 2nd marriage and the birth of the first child to make it clear that she was not pregnant with either of their surviving children.
So, what's up?
Annulled:
- Since Ada Evelyn was only 16, she was not legally competent to get married in 1928. So, when her dad found out, he immediately went to court to have the marriage annulled.
