  Married: There is a Rowan County marriage record on 10 Jan 1791 for Mary Tranham and Jesse Rickmon. I suspect that this is the Mary named in Martin Trentham's will. This would lead me to suspect that, if John Hollis married a Mary Trantham, that she would perhaps be Martin's sister, in order to make the ages work out.
