| Based on census responses, her parents might have been from Georgia or Alabama. She was likely born 1856-1858. There are several likely candidate families in Alabama and Mississippi that need more research to narrow down which might be hers. Minnie's delayed birth certificate says she was born in Tennessee and was 29 when Minnie was born. | Taylor, Martha A. (I5886)
| Based on her daughter's will leaving something to her Granny Davis, I suspect that Ann was a Davis. In Franklin County, there are 2 Davis families who might fit. THe best fit is Annie Davis, b. 1796, in NC and her husband John P. Davis also born in NC. | Ann Elizabeth (I2725)
| Based on her not being in the census, but having a 5 year old daughter named after her, it is likely she died around the time the child was born. | Watt, Anna Bailey (I8095)
| Based on his being missing from teh 1870 census and the ages of the youngest children, I would expect to find that Wiley died between 1862 and 1870, possibly in the Civil War. It also appears that the youngest child from the 1860 census has died. | White, Wiley J. (I10168)
| Based on his entry into college and his marriage date | Walton, Rev. William (I8773)
| Based on Howard's appearance in the tax list with a poll, I would expect that that was the year he turned 18. That would put his birth around 1804. | Council, Howard S. (I9647)
| Based on marriage intentions being announced in April of that year. | Family: Micah Bryant / Elizabeth Norcutt (F3398)
| Based on Mayflower Families, it appears that Sarah returned to Leyden after Degory died and then returned again to Plymouth. | Allerton, Sarah (I8988)
| Based on the ages of the children in the census, I suspect they were married around 1828. It seems like the rest of the family was born & married in South Carolina and then moved to Alabama. | Family: William Brown / Arapha Huckaby (F3910)
| Based on the ages of the children in the census, I suspect they were married around 1829. It seems like the rest of the family was born & married in South Carolina and then moved to Alabama. | Family: Harbert Archer / Malinda Huckaby (F3911)
| Based on the ages of the children in the census, I suspect they were married around 1840-1843. It seems like the rest of the family was born & married in South Carolina and then moved to Alabama. | Family: Wiley J. White / Delila Huckaby (F3912)
| Based on the dates and places of birth of the children in the 1850 census, we can deduce that they moved to Arkansas after William was born, but before Susan, so between 1841-1843. | Council, Capt. John Moore (I2129)
| Based on the fact that there is a receipt from Robert M. Bailey to John B. Hill in Sebastian Co in 1844, at least Robert remained in Sebastian Co. Were there other brothers and sisters still in Seb Co? When did Francis Bailey move to Pope Co? What about John Hill? Is this John Hill the uncle or grandfather of Robert M Bailey? | Bailey, Robert M. (I671)
| Based on the Uriah Allison / Nancy Cox book, it would be worthwhile to look closely at the Robert Allison facts, to separate out which are this Robert Allison, and which might be one of the other *three* Robert Allisons in the same place and time. SDAR-PATRIOT: Pvt, TN Ordered that Robert ALLISON be overseer of the Public Road from PRIGMOORES Ferry to Muddy Creek & that Isham COX esquire Appoint the hands to work thereon. - Roane Co., Tennessee Road Orders Some sources claim his birth and death as 1750 in Chester Co., NC and 1820 in Greene Co., TN. But better documented sources show otherwise. Robert fought in the Revolution and was in the battle of King's Mountain. It appears that there are two different Robert Allisons in the Greene County / Roane County area of Tennessee after the Revolution. One Robert appears to be older than this one, but it's not really easy to separate them. DEED: Deed Book 2 - p. 231 - Sheriff's Deed - 24 July 1811 - Daniel Guin, Shff, one part, and Robert Allison, Junr, and Jonathan Baracraft, both of Washington Co., TN, other part, and that whereas sd Robert Allison, Senr, for use of Nathaniel Shipley, recovered judgment against Thomas Gillis, and there was levied on 420 acres(tract where Gillis then lived) a judgment, $500 was pd, tr being on Mill fork of Big Limestone adj Daniel Kennedy's former line and John Coffman corner. Wit: Samuel Powel, Joseph Hamilton. Reg 30 Sep 1811 (I believe these two Robert Allisons cited to be other than this line) There are a lot of Allisons in 1780 in Granville Co NC with other folks who fought at Kings Mountain. | Allison, Robert (I182)
| Based on Wesley's location in Jackson & Madison Counties, this marriage probably took place in one of these two places. Likewise, Betsy's family was likely in this area. | Family: Wesley Hudson / Elizabeth Ann Landers (F235)
| Batte died young. | Cocke, Batte (I1784)
| Being unable to equitably divide the slaves of John Faver Jr between his heirs, the court orders their sale and a division of the proceeds. The slaves to be sold include "Billy a boy aged about 21 years, Rachel a woman aged about 45 years, and Harrison a boy aged about 11 years." | Faver, John (I2875)
