On Indian Field Creek, 400 acres. There is an inventory and will for John Adock in Rutherford Co., Tennessee in 1822 that makes no mention to Elizabeth. 3311 | Married her cousin There is a marriage record in 1836 Limestone County, Alabama for a marriage of Henrietta Faver to Andrew Wofford. Andrew purchased a slave at John Faver Jr's estate sale. John Wofford (Andrew's father) ended up as the guardian of several Wofford children. I don't think there was a divorce, and Andrew Wofford's will names his wife M.F. Wofford. Who is this Henrietta? | Faver, Henrietta (I2873)

| Mary E. Dixon came with her youngest brother and four children to DeSoto County, now Tate Co., MS. Mary must have married A.J. Gates in Mississippi around 1872 since their daughter was born there in 1873. That means they did not move to Arkansas until after 1873. | Dickson, Mary E. (I2592)
| Mary E. is found in the 1900 US Census. However, a previous child,Mary Bernese, is found in the Lane Cemetery in Pumpkinvine. MaryBernese was born in 1881 and died in 1883 so it is possible that thename was used again. Or it is possible that one of these is in error. | Hudson, Mary E. (I3769)
| Mary is a bit of a mystery. She does not appear with George in the census in 1850, 1860, or 1870. FindaGrave says she died in 1880, not 1864. But, in 1860 and 1870, George is alone in the family of Mary's siblings. Did she die very early, earlier than believed? Did she run off? Was she in the mental hospital? Or what? But in the 1840 census, there are young children and a woman aged 20-30 in the household. I suspect this is her. | Council, Mary B. (I2130)

| Mary is listed as Mary M.T.R. Faver in the marriage record. | Family: Alfred P. Reid / Mary Ann Faver (F878)
| Mary is listed in the 1860 census as Mary F.E. Deshazo. In Crawford County, in December 1890, a divorce between Mary Deshazier and John W Deshazier is listed. This needs to be sorted out. I have heard that there is a second J.W. Deshazo in the area, but I have not seen evidence of him. By 1890, John Walker Deshazo and Mary Phelps had been in Arkansas for 10 years. -- MERGED NOTE ------------ This may actually be Mary F.E. Phelps | Phelps, Mary Frances Elizabeth (I5033)
| Mary lived in the same building (11b and 11a) as her sister Nellie. They both lived next door to their parents. The 1910 census says she has had 5 children, of whom 3 are living. Both of her parents are recorded as Irish Irish as opposed to English Irish. | Callahan, Mary Eliza (I7035)
| Mary may have been known as Peggy. | Cocke, Mary (I1887)
| Mary might have been named Jennings. | Mary (I4469)
| Mary Susan Druscilla was 16 when she was married. The marriage to John W.B. Tennyson was not well thought of by either set of parents. To solve the problem of no consent, they sent a black man to the courthouse to get the marriage license. When he came back with it,they just crossed out the race, changed it to white, and got married. This marriage record has not yet been found, but it could be recorded as either black or white. Her first marriage could have been in Choctaw or Pontotoc Co, MS. After J.W.B. Tennyson died, she remarried to Mr. Phillips. He was not well liked by the first family and was regarded as a mean person by his stepchildren. Ref: [,1970,gm1] | Deshazo, Mary Susan Druscilla (I2521)

| Matilda Moore is enumerated in the 1860 Census in Wesley Hudson's household, along with his wife and maybe his mother-in-law, Rebecca Landers. Perhaps, Matilda is actually Matilda Landers, married and widowed to a Moore. After Elizabeth and Rebecca both died, either due to love or due to the practicalities involved, Matilda and Wesley married. Based on the 1900 Census, we know that Matilda was married to a Moore prior to being married to Wesley Hudson. We know that she had only a single child, Truely. Matilda is *not* the former Matilda Maner, though the age sort of fits. Matilda Maner married John C.. Landers and had a big family and is buried with him. She could be a Landers by birth, though. | Matilda J. (I3854)
