735	As the consequence of a lawsuit in the March 1831 court against Peter Bailey, his children, and others, 411 acres of his land along Butcher's Creek (which sounds like his original land in the area) was sold by sheriff's commissioners. Peter A. Bailey and William H. Bailey purchased the land for $2.50 / acre, or a total of $1027.50. It appears that this case started with Peter, being the administrator in an estate, sold slaves that were not to be sold. The plaintiff claimed that they were part of the natural increase of the other slaves included in the bequest and not available for sale. Whether this long-running dispute led to Peter leaving the area is unknown. But it wasn't very long after this appears to be settled that he and Sarah moved away.	Bailey, Peter Cock (I660)
