    Claude C. Bailey, 68, of Porter died Tuesday, June 5, 1979, in Muskogee Veterans Administration Medical Center. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church at Porter with Rev. Lin McNatt officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Porter under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner. Pallbearers will be Rudolph Schauffler, Claud Epperson, O. A. McKinney, Everett Dean, Johnny Glenn and Dennis Holmes.
    Mr. Bailey was born August 22, 1910, in Hackett. He was a retired machinist with Braden Winch in Broken Arrow. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of Porter First Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Bernice of the home; four sons, Jerry and Dayond, both of the home, Donald of Cushing and Darrell of Owasso; two daughters, Mrs. Inez Nichols of Lawton and Mrs. Linda Robertson of Porter; three brothers, Russell of San Francisco, California, Clifton of Hackett and Norman of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Shiflett and Mrs. Susan Dickson, both of Fort Smith, Arkansas and 14 grandchildren.

    MUSKOGEE — Lilly Bernice Bailey, 81, of Muskogee died Thursday, April 22, 1999, in a Muskogee retirement center. She was a member of Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee. She was a homemaker and the widow of Claude Bailey.

    Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Porter Cemetery in Porter, Okla., under the direction of Mallett Funeral Home of Wagoner, Okla.

    She is survived by two daughters, Inez Nichols of Greenwood and Linda Robertson of Porter; four sons, Jerry of Muskogee, Donald of Porter, Darrell of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Daymond of Spiro; two sisters, Theanna Boussard of Roland and Deloris Reed of Horseshoe Lake; 21 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
