Leonard Noel Hunter, 84, of Alma, died August 14, 2010 in Van Buren.

He was a retired employee of Roselawn Cemetery, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was of the Pentecostal Faith.

He is survived by one son, Leon Hunter of Alma; two sisters, Alvern McDonald of Van Buren and Sue Tuck of Alma; one brother, Alvin Hunter of Fort Smith; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Hunter and grandson Leon Hunter, Jr.

Graveside service was Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at 10:00 AM in the Mount McCurry Cemetery Pavilion under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Johnny and Ricky Hunter, Skeeter Johnson, Darrell Bennett, Michael Fisher, and Randy Willhite.

She was a member of the Free Holiness Pentecostal Block Church and lifelong resident of Crawford County.Funeral was held at 1 p.m. Friday at Free Holiness Pentecostal Block Church. Burial was at Mount McCurry Cemetery at Rudy, Arkansas.She is survived by her husband, Plumer; three daughters, Mildred and Sue, both of Van Buren, Alvrein of Fort Smith; three sons, Lonnie and Alvin, both of Fort Smith and Leanord of Sallisaw, Ok; two brothers, Walter Dickson of Tulsa and Artie Dickson of Troup, Texas; 23 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
