Thomas Vinson of Northampton Co sells to David Vinson of Granville Co, for 40 lbs current money of Virginia, the property where Nicholas Hill lived in Granville on Sandy Creek, 62 acres. Thomas Vinson acquired it from Ralph Mason on 18 Feb 1746.

Peter Vincent has paid 3 shillings proclamation money, land on both sides of Cedar Creek, 400 acres. Woods, timber, hunting and fishing rights and mining are granted. However, the Crown reserves 1/4 of all gold and silver mined and Lord Granville reserves 1/2 of the remaining 3/4 of all gold and silver mined. Annual rent shall be 3 shillings sterling or 4 shillings proclamation money per 100 acres. Due each year at the Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Feast of St. Michael (half at each).
