John married Mahala Ann Hansen on 28 Jul 1836 in Limestone, Alabama, United States. Mahala was born in 1812 in Tennessee, United States; and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

  2. 3.  Mahala Ann Hansen was born in 1812 in Tennessee, United States; and died.

    Other Events and Attributes:

    • Name: Mahala Ann Lee
    • _AMTID: 162485318197:1030:191555462

    • Census: 1866, Limestone, Alabama, United States; Address:
      Township 3 Range 5 West

    Notes:

In John Faver's will he refers to her as Mahala Ann Hansen. In her marriage record to John Faver, it says Lee. I suspect she was born Hansen, married a Lee, married Faver. Then, in 1849, she married again to Covington Edmonson. In the 1850 census, she is listed as Mahala H. repeatedly, so that seems to be good evidence that she was born Hansen / Hanson.

    Census:
She is recorded as Mahala H. Edmonson (presumably Hansen).

Look for Hansen in south-central Tennessee.

    Census:
For some reason, there are two different sets of forms and enumerations for the 1866 census. One categorizes broadly, the other more narrowly and includes Civil War veterans and casualties.

    Notes:

    Married:
In his will, he refers to her as Mahala A. Hansen. I have not yet found a marriage record of her to Lee. Presumably, though, she was born Hansen, married Lee, and then married Faver.

    1. 1. Sarah Ann Faver was born about 1837 in Limestone, Alabama, United States; and died.
    2. Theopholis Faver was born after 1836 in Limestone, Alabama, United States; and died.
    3. Mary Ann Faver was born on 3 Aug 1842 in Limestone, Alabama, United States; died in Limestone, Alabama, United States.
