    Notes:

Based on the Uriah Allison / Nancy Cox book, it would be worthwhile to look closely at the Robert Allison facts, to separate out which are this Robert Allison, and which might be one of the other *three* Robert Allisons in the same place and time.

    SDAR-PATRIOT: Pvt, TN

Ordered that Robert ALLISON be overseer of the Public Road from PRIGMOORES Ferry to Muddy Creek & that Isham COX esquire Appoint the hands to work thereon. - Roane Co., Tennessee Road Orders

Some sources claim his birth and death as 1750 in Chester Co., NC and 1820 in Greene Co., TN. But better documented sources show otherwise.

Robert fought in the Revolution and was in the battle of King's Mountain.

It appears that there are two different Robert Allisons in the Greene County / Roane County area of Tennessee after the Revolution. One Robert appears to be older than this one, but it's not really easy to separate them.

DEED: Deed Book 2 - p. 231 - Sheriff's Deed - 24 July 1811 - Daniel Guin, Shff, one part, and Robert Allison, Junr, and Jonathan Baracraft, both of Washington Co., TN, other part, and that whereas sd Robert Allison, Senr, for use of Nathaniel Shipley, recovered judgment against Thomas Gillis, and there was levied on 420 acres(tract where Gillis then lived) a judgment, $500 was pd, tr being on Mill fork of Big Limestone adj Daniel Kennedy's former line and John Coffman corner. Wit: Samuel Powel, Joseph Hamilton. Reg 30 Sep 1811 (I believe these two Robert Allisons cited to be other than this line)

There are a lot of Allisons in 1780 in Granville Co NC with other folks who fought at Kings Mountain.

But this might be a different Robert Allison.

NOTE: The above two deeds recorded from Washington Co and Greene Co NC date from the time before the establishment of Tennessee. Hence, their being located in NC. Revolutionary Patriot

The identity of Alexander Moore is hard to pin down. He's sometimes called Alick, or Elick. Some people think there are references to him as William as well. Could be he was known by both names, or that there were two (or more) people with the names William and Alexander Moore. This makes him hard to place.
