Retired obstetrician who delivered more than 10,000 OKC's babies, died unexpectedly. He began practice in OKC in 1913. He retired in April 1947, but returned the following August to head the medical staff of the Oklahoma County Health Association.
He was one of OKC's first obstetricians to concentrate on hospital births with no home deliveries. "I started talking hospitals to mothers when I came back from the war in 1920." He said in 1947 at the time of his retirement. " I never refused to take cases at home," he said "I just outtalked the mothers."
