1828 - Yes, date unknown1. Susan S. Faver was born in Dec 1828 in Limestone, Alabama, United States (daughter of John Faver and Esther Lewis); and died. Other Events and Attributes:
- _AMTID: 162485316837:1030:191555462

- Residence: 5 Nov 1841, Desoto, Mississippi, United States
- Misc: 14 Dec 1846, Limestone, Alabama, United States; filed for final settlement of her guardianship
Notes:
Birth:
Since her guardianship was settled in December 1846, Susan likely was born in Dec. or Nov. 1828.
Misc:
Presumably, a final settlement would be because either Susan turned 18 or she married.
2. John Faver was born in Virginia, United States (son of John Favor and Henrietta Faver); died before 9 Jul 1838 in Limestone, Alabama, United States. Other Events and Attributes:

Notes:
Apparently, after his death, his oldest three children selected or had appointed John Faver Sr as guardian. Presumably they may have lived with him. The younger three by 1841 were in Mississippi and had a guardian appointed there. That means that they must have moved there, maybe with their mother.

Misc:
John Faver Jr applied for and received letters administrative for James Neville's estate on 28 Jun 1838. He was ordered to sell a slave named Daniel in order to satisfy debts against the estate.
Misc:
Having completed the sale of John Waterson's real estate, the court ordered John Faver Jr to deliver title to the purchaser.
Misc:
The proceeds of the sale of John Waterson's property was delivered to his heirs by order of the court.
Misc:
By order of the court, John Faver Jr will deliver a final accounting of the estate of James Nevil 45 days hence.
However, it almost looks like the records name John Faver Senr instead of Jr as administrator. There is no record of a substitute, so this must by a mistake.
Misc:
Being unable to equitably divide the slaves of John Faver Jr between his heirs, the court orders their sale and a division of the proceeds. The slaves to be sold include "Billy a boy aged about 21 years, Rachel a woman aged about 45 years, and Harrison a boy aged about 11 years."
Misc:
A slave, Rachel, was purchased by Andrew Wofford.
Misc:
Thomas Hancock of Desoto County, Mississippi appeared in court with his appointment as guardian for Esther, John, and Susan Faver. This tells us that they children were in Mississippi and that they were all less than 14 years old.
Died:
John Faver's estate was opened in court on 9 July 1838. He must have died after the previous court and before this date, at worst between 11 Dec 1837 and 9 Jul 1838.John married Esther Lewis on 12 Oct 1819. Esther (daughter of Abel Lewis and Sally Lewis) and died. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

Notes:
Married her cousin
There is a marriage record in 1836 Limestone County, Alabama for a marriage of Henrietta Faver to Andrew Wofford. Andrew purchased a slave at John Faver Jr's estate sale. John Wofford (Andrew's father) ended up as the guardian of several Wofford children. I don't think there was a divorce, and Andrew Wofford's will names his wife M.F. Wofford. Who is this Henrietta?
Died:
On John Faver's 1830 Census enumeration, there is a female aged 50-60, which is presumably Henrietta. So, her death is likely between 1830 and 1836.Children:
- Elizabeth Faver was born on 29 Mar 1795 in Culpeper, Virginia, United States; died on 24 Mar 1867 in Simmons Bluff, Wilson, Tennessee, United States; was buried in Simmons Bluff, Wilson, Tennessee, United States.
