    Notes:

    In 1806, a newspaper notice is posted in the Augusta Herald for a runaway apprentice by the name of Solomon Bridges, orphan of Meshack Bridges. So, Meshack had a son Solomon. But by 1806, Solomon Bridges, father of Herod, was already an adult and father. This means that a more likely scenario is that Meshack is the brother of Solomon rather than the father of Solomon.

    It appears that this Solomon moved into Gwinnett County based on newspaper articles in the 1830s and 1840s.
