  MARRIAGE: Vincent1 h5 There is at least one John Adcock in Granville, and perhaps a couple of generations of them. In Deed book C, p. 370, there is a deed from Earl Granville to John Adcock dated 24 April 1754. Rent of 3 shillings sterling or 4 shillings proclamation money per 100 acres. On Indian Field Creek, 400 acres. There is an inventory and will for John Adock in Rutherford Co., Tennessee in 1822 that makes no mention to Elizabeth. There is also a rent agreement for John Adcock in Granville Co.
