• Notes

  Mary E. Dixon came with her youngest brother and four children to DeSoto County, now Tate Co., MS. Mary must have married A.J. Gates in Mississippi around 1872 since their daughter was born there in 1873. That means they did not move to Arkansas until after 1873.
