2661	In John Champion's will, it appeared to be dated 1778, but it could have been a different date. There is now way to call Elizabeth Preddy unless the will were written after 1783. Before that, she would have been Elizabeth Champion. Likewise, no previous marriage is indicated, or she would not be listed as Elizabeth Champion on this marriage record. 2662	In John Faver's will he refers to her as Mahala Ann Hansen. In her marriage record to John Faver, it says Lee. I suspect she was born Hansen, married a Lee, married Faver. Then, in 1849, she married again to Covington Edmonson. In the 1850 census, she is listed as Mahala H. repeatedly, so that seems to be good evidence that she was born Hansen / Hanson. From Findagrave: Eliza L Huckaby's mother was Nancy T Menifee. I know the census say Mary. Eliza had a sister Terilda who was my gg grandmother. The family names were written down in 1906 and their mother is listed as Nancy T Menifee Huckaby. ******************* Note: Originally typed 20 May 1993 by Marilyn Roberts. The cemetery is about one mile south of Hwy. 27. About 20 graves but no markers. The markers were all turned over and the cemetery was all grown up. A new stock pond had just been built when this was copied and one wonders if some of the graves were not dug up by the dozers. 2678	In searching for James Armour, I find that there are a large number of Armour families, including a James that could fit this record, in Hall County, Georgia in 1840. This seems a place to look further. A number of family trees on Ancestry include James M. Armour. They show his first wife to be Effie Emily Sewell and that he was from Hall County, Georgia. This is definitely an area to look for the family. How did he end up in the area where Milly Allen was? Other sources show that James Armer was born in Jackson County. The mystery marriage to Effie Sewell is found in South Carolina, so I am skeptical that this is at all correct.	Armour, James M. (I488)

Likewise, while all of the other sons-in-law are listed as receiving their wife's share, Jane is listed on her own. After Zebulon's death and her father's death, did Jane remarry? In 1842, John, Robert, and Nathan Gann all stand for a bond for John Gann as administrator of the estate of Samuel F. Gann. A bill of sale signed by Seaborn Gann is part of the estate papers. 2685	In the 1850 census, enumerated with James and Libbi Page (age 33) , cut off from the bottom of the census image, but listed in the index, are John and Judith Vaughn, ages 79 and 68. These appear likely to be Elizabeth Vaughn's parents. They are listed as paupers. Perhaps John and Elizabeth are both dead. Is it the case that Libbi is Elizabeth Vaughn who married John Page? She appears far too young in this case to be the right person. Moreover, some source claims that Elizabeth died in 1846, while I find an Elizabeth Page enumerated in 1860 in Union County, but not with children that match the family she and John supposedly had. Patsy Page reports that she had 9 children, 2 of whom died as infants. On the other hand, Randolph Vaughn in Union County made a will in 1830 and named his daughter Elizabeth.
